The Squib Dinghy

The Squib is a nineteen-foot fixed keel Bermuda-rigged boat carrying a mainsail, genoa and spinaker. It requires a crew of two to race it under ‘normal’ race conditions but can be sailed single handed or carry up to four. It is of glass fibre construction with a wooden floor and in most cases an alloy mast. The boat has a minimum weight of 680kg in sailing condition i.e. with mast rudder, anchor, paddle etc.
